Shades of Green

"To be native is to have been born in the area in question; but native also designates those whose ancestors were from the area..."

I came across a website where some famous people whose native is Mangalore are listed.
~~~
Driving around Mangalore is a delight. The sights are so diverse throughout and in the outskirts of the city, almost at every bend there is a beautiful scenery to enjoy. It is a great place to soak in the greenery, especially so during and after the monsoons.
These miles and miles of land full of greenery is a soothing sight. Green in nature is one of my preferred colours. So also the pure whiteness around snow clad mountains. But then I also like the fiery red, orange and yellow of autumn.
Which is your favourite colour adorning nature?
That purse provides such a good contrast to the greens. The post is soothing to the eyes!
Mridula,
I to think that the red handbag produces an intensified effect of contrast against the greenery.
Lovely sights of green! You chose to visit Mangalore in the best season (post monsoon).
Your handbag made visible in utmost clarity by the unceasing smile of Mother Nature that spreads miles away.
Lovely shades of green. South India during monsoons is the best.
As much as I love green during monsoons, I have to say that my most favorite part of time is autumn. The east coast in the US comes alive with bright oranges and reds and yellows of fall color trees.
That looks like a beautiful park isn't it? Awesome pictures. The red hand bag provides a nice contrast against the green background with a cool scenery. Nice compositions.
