SWF: Before the Storm

Go visit SkyWatch. It is a place to enjoy skies and views from around the globe.

Photograph shot on the way to Munnar, Kerala, India

Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass...
it's about learning how to dance in the rain.

- Unknown

Life isn’t easy. Life’s storms are constant. Dancing should be too.

The storms can suddenly be there on a gloomy day, or a sunny day. Roses may be promised but it would be unwise to ignore the thorns.

There are challenges every single day. Challenges with regard to hurdles of ability, knowledge, finance, family, independence, emotions, and so many more, but should we give up? Never! The storm and rain is inevitable and dancing through it should be the key to joy. We should continue to dance for the storms give us an opportunity to grow and become a better human being. There is anyway no good in sitting and complaining, or crying.

Dancing may be easy when life is great, but can we dance also when things aren’t going smooth? If not dance, at least do something positive. How about curling up in bed with a book, rejoicing in the glory of a sunset, singing to our heart's content, or simply shouting with glee? Let's celebrate life!

Through difficult times, if we can’t figure out what to do for ourselves, then we can go do something nice for someone else. So many people in this world need a helping hand. Let's go visit an orphanage to make a few children smile, or visit to cheer up someone sick or dying, or visit an old age home to hold someone’s wrinkled hand.

Let’s get through life with a great attitude, even through stormy times.

Wonderful perspective. I love to dance in the rain. I am a storm chaser, so as such I face the storm head on. I'm not afraid because I know how big God is.

Enjoy the dance.

The atoms dance throughout eternity to propel the universe into ceaseless motion. Thus, life vibrates in the same pattern. There is vibration everywhere...in smile, in tears...in pain..in pleasure..in hatred..in love..in desires...even in the well...life is definitely a dance perceptually different from one another. Life become intensely lively only in LOVE...and that's not easy to achieve, especially when we have picky minds that cry in pain and smile in pleasure. Good write.

Beautiful writeup. There are always good and bad situations - it is how you deal with them that makes life easy or hard.

Yay to celebrating life!

A droplet of rain once asked another while both falling through from dark stormy cloud--"Why is this fall?"--A long silence followed, and it was almost time for them to touch silky green curve of two slender leafs of grass when they heard someone whispering--"To reflect shines of promises of life...". They landed upon those long necks and rolled down to the tips and danced for moments in company of last rays of the day. Soon followed another fall when the other droplet asked, "Why is this fall now?"...When they were about to touch the ground they heard whispers from an obscure horizon--"To reflect promises of shines of life...."
They fell upon a wide carpet of verdant meadow, and soon swallowed up by thirsty soil. Finally they found themselves in company of fresh root of a new-born sapling; and the life flowed on...
The essence of existence has been expressed in so touching manner, Celine !! I am deeply moved, my friend !!
