Your poem makes me think of how much I think each of us craves some kind of permanence--or assurance that life is meaningful.

Beautiful lines Celine. Just three of them but they seem to be overflowing with meaning.

Lovely view of life !
It whispers alike in me :--

"Fleeting moments of being
Spontaneously lose all its splendour
Only to leave behind a thin imprint"

Best wishes,

Permanent structures mark the past of what once must have been grandeur. Lovely words, lovely photograph.

I am always amazed at the ancient architecture that withstands the tests of time. I'm sure the footprint I leave behind will not be nearly so grand.

Transience/Permanence. You've captured the wistful tug of war between the two, Celine.
