The Pink City

My posts on Jaipur, the Pink City, turned out more than I anticipated. Here's a list for quick reference:

1. Nahargarh and Jaigarh Forts
2. City Palace
3. Choki Dani
4. Elephants on streets
5. Camel on roadside
6. Guns n' roses (Authorblog's Post of the day)

Gil,
Don't miss out on a visit to the Himalayas as well - you could start off in the States of Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh and J&K. :)

I loved the pic of the gateway!

Is the guns wala pic the same which you had put up in the post "Guns & Roses"? Just testing my memory :)

Sameera,
That's at the City Palace. Did you see the pigeon (or dove) up there?

Re guns, you are absolutely right. Item 6 here points to that link. :)

Just saw it,that was really well captured!

First time around, did not notice the bird nor the six post names. He he,was too busy marveling at the pink sandstone and the guns which seemingly swirl up and down when scrolling the page!Silly me :)
