I have not been to Auli, but I intend to trek in Garhwal in August this year and hope take a ropeway from Joshimath to Auli then. :)

I suggest you make this (and such) post 'sticky' i.e. let them not be lost in the archives. I don't exactly know how to do that in blog spot, but it would be nice to have an index of your travelogs always on the sidebar. Now that your are blogging about more and more destinations, such indexing is crucial. (Yes I am trying to brainwash you into switching to wordpress)

You could go to the template or layout section and click on add labels.Your destinations and topics will feature on your blog ..It will also give an index of all the places you have been to..
