Another break

Mark Twain warned: "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."

I want no disappointments. I'm all set. Leaving the nest again to reach beyond the east and the sunrise, beyond the west, and the sea! Set to dream, discover and explore. See you all in a few days. Until then, hold the floor!

Celine, I've gotten back and now you're going. Planes that pass in the night.

The difference is I'll probably stay put longer than you.

Have a magnificent journey!

Mark Twain was surely right! Hope you have a safe trip, and look forward to seeing the new posts and pictures in the near future. I'm becoming so envious: just remembering that some years ago I had what might be called decent vacations and could choose my itinerary without great restrictions... :((
Anyhow, enjoy - wherever you are!

Yes, I so agree with what Mark Twain said.

By, the way, how often in a year do you get to do this travelling?

Thanks for your kind wishes, my friend. :)

San,
Thank you for your good wishes. Stay put longer? I am not quite certain, however, as always will hope for the best. I hope you had a great trip, and shall visit your space soon.

Shantanu,
Thanks a lot for your kind and encouraging words. :)

Merisi,
Thank you very much. I just about posted the details and now responding to these comments. If you are interested in India, I’d suggest you visit the Himalayas someday.
Your care and concern is much appreciated. :)

Gil,
I did have an enjoyable time and thanks for your kind wishes. I hope you get a chance to have vacations often and travel more frequently. :)

There is no set rule.
Last year, I managed four trips. I normally travel at those times when there are public holidays here, for example, if there is a week's holiday here for the Islamic Eid festival, I add another week from my annual leave and travel for 2 weeks. Basically, I grab every opportunity and get going. :)

John,
Thanks for your visit and your good wishes. Can you please give me the link to that fabulous post of yours on the couple’s dance? I’d love to read it again. :)
