India Travels

Mumbai, Mahabaleshwar, Mussorie
in the Monsoons:

The past few weeks I have been travelling.

Landing in Mumbai, I reached Panchgani via Pune and explored the beauty of Mahabaleshwar in the monsoons and stopped over in Lonavala on the way back.

After the Sahyadri mountains, it was time for my favourite destination: the Himalayan mountain region. So it was another trip to Delhi for onward journey to Dehradun to end up in the hill stations of Mussorie and the adjoining town of Landour.

A few pictures of my travels:-

Hi Celine! Sorry for the long delay, but after one year work, I got my official week off and, as always, the week before was terrible and the return awful... ;). Furthermore, there was 09.09.09, which for me was a bit depressing, as I entered a Club 60 I would prefer to postpone the joining... ;))
I’ll try to find some more time in the coming week to enjoy your posts!! You're always on the best road... Fabulous pictures!!

Blogtrotter is now in Turkey. Enjoy and have a fabulous weekend!

Celine, I've never seen an expressway look so mystical, like a road for pilgrims. Then again, it is, kind of, at least from the dramatic perspective you've captured. Breathtaking, milady.

Don't you just love traveling in Maharashtra this season. I have not been to Mahabaleshwar, but that scenery is so common in the Sahayadri hills. I love the green this time of the year.

Hope to see more pics of your Himalaya trip.
