Welcome back to blogosphere CĂ©line! Fabulous pictures from a fantastic place.
I'm taking some days vacation in Greece, provided that the fires allow me... so I won't be able to post and comment till mid-September. Meanwhile I leave you in Bali at Blogtrotter

the hermit of wandering thoughts: Hello there. I have seen pictures of Nako, HP and can very well identify the resemblance in the first picture here that you speak of. Thank you for passing by, and your kind comments. :)

suldog: Thanks for dropping by and your comment and your interest in Sikkim.
Sikkim is a small state in the north-east part of India nestled in the Himalayas. It is bordered around by Nepal in the West, Bhutan in South-East, Tibet in North side and the Indian State of West Bengal in the South. It's a beautiful place to visit, especially if you are the nature- and mountain-loving kind. Cheers :)

pijush: Thank you very much. I shall post my new pictures shortly. :)

gmg: Thank you very much and have a great trip. I have also wished you on your blog separately. :)

Lovely pics on this post. I liked your narration on Incredible India!! It showed through your post - all your longings for the road less travelled in India !!

Its quite uncanny that on a recent trip a friend who travelled from Down Under - expressed wish to find work in India and at that point I said - I count my blessing that I am so near to Himalaya's that anytime I get tired of living in Urban Jungle - I take off for peace.

And yeah - look forward to seeing your pics.
When do you travel next ??
Tk care ~

bendtherulz: Thank you for your kind words regarding 'Trekkers' and 'Incredible India Indeed' and I am glad you were able to read my sentiments well through those lines.

Next trip is planned for August 2008 to another Himalayan destination, i.e., to explore the Uttarankand region and trek upto the Valley of Flowers. There is no guarantee that anyone can succeed in keeping me tied to this place till then, which means that there is a possibility of making a quick trip somewhere else in between too ;)

I'm sure you had a great trip, you lucky-guy-who-has-the-great-Himalayas-in-his-backyard. Good to see you back. :)
