Autumn
Enchanting season
Colourful array
Visual evolution
A sensory deluge
Lingers momentarily
Then falling leaves
Branches going bare
Apparently dying
Inspire to let go
It's offering
Of endings
And new beginnings
Evokes possibility
Of a change in scene
Autumn
A transitional phase
From ebullience of summer
Into truculent winter
A shift in time!

What a gorgeous photo! Perfect title.
ReplyDeleteThat shift scatters our words and thoughts like the leaves, I think. It is a wonderful time.
ReplyDeleteNice reflections, Celine !
ReplyDeleteThe rolling fallen leaves--some red, some yellow, some brown--whisper their unheard tales of the moments gone by; the memories of once green swaying in summer breeze fly on the wings of Time and life learns the essence of Fall.
Another rhyme of creation is gently playing somewhere--near or far!
Regards,
You've pictured it well - the seasons' shifting. Nice!

ReplyDeleteNature can really inspire a poet when it comes to shift in time ... the photo is so beautiful, and you captured the shift very well.
ReplyDeleteI love the moments of transition from one season to another. You've caught it well in words.
ReplyDeleteMoving through the seasons is a classic shift in time, a most consistent event, at least as far as I can remember, it's been happening forever! Nice job!
