There may be nothing like bright days for good photography, but dull days can offer just as many rewards if you appreciate and take advantage of the softer light of the day.

This post for “sky watch” has a dull sky as seen in the photographs. However, the vibrant colors of green, together with the yellows, oranges and reds of the fall foliage is intense and does make up for the dullness of the sky.

I was in that area (Brattleboro was one of the places I was) just under 2 weeks ago. The skies were exactly the same, but the trees made up for it.

ReplyDeleteThe Fall is what I miss the most in India. I remember how pretty the entire drive from Washington DC to Niagara used to be when we chose to drive thru W.Virginia.
