Valley of Flowers, Uttarakhand, India - July 2008The Valley of Flowers is a high altitude Himalayan valley renowned for its diverse alpine flora, meadows and natural beauty. The highest point of the Valley of Flowers National Park is Gauri Parbat at 6,719 m above sea level is covered with clouds in this photograph. Located in the upper regions of Garhwal in Uttarakhand, the Valley is inaccessible through much of the year.
